About Yoga for Alex

Alex Kelston wearing a cape at the Burning Man festival

In May 2016, Alexander Kelston – a son, brother, and friend – took his life after a long battle with depression.

Yoga for Alex is an event to celebrate his life and raise money for depression research. We ask yoga teachers to dedicate a class to Alex and donate the proceeds to the Hope for Depression Research Foundation.

Alex traveled the world and built a community that spanned the globe. Join us by creating a class, taking a class, making a donation, and spreading the word!

Our Progress

Our communities have raised over $80,000 in Alex's memory. Help us reach our $100,000 goal!
